Etown Tree Lighting Ceremony
Welcome friends to 2012! While we were recapping our 2011 events we realized we never shared one of our later events with you. Even though it happened back at the very end of November, we still want to tell you about the Elizabethtown College Tree Lighting Ceremony.
We were contracted to provide the sound and lighting for the ceremony, while the actual tree lights were provided by the college. This is an annual tradition held by the college that really marks the start of the holiday season and the (almost) end of the semester. Due to tree complications, this was the first year the ceremony and tree were located in The Dell, this was also the first year for there two be not one, but two trees lit. As you can see in the pictures below, we added a bunch of great wash colors to help accent the area, especially with the new college President, Carl Strikwerda, reading a Christmas story to the students and faculty.
Itern Tom was there to help us out and snap some photos. Being alums from the school it was really great to go back again to help out where we can. Enjoy the photos!
